BREEDING HORSES WHO LOVE PEOPLE FOR PEOPLE WHO LOVE HORSES
I am proud to stand at stud KISS MY FINEST HEART - The only 100% Foundation Pedigree Designated & Registered Appaloosa Stallion in Europe. Blue Roan Leopard Appaloosa with halo spots. Also registered ApHC nº 628404 FAHR nº 630 SUNDANCE 500 nº 1454D ICAA nº F4-2393 AIHR nº A-4179 CRHA nº 6536
Seeing Cowboys chase Indians on their Appaloosa horses during the Saturday morning westerns on the TV is where my love for the breed began. As a 9 year-old I dreamt of riding in such harmony and at great speed on the backs of these spotted horses just like the Indians, as near to nature and as natural as possible. Many years and much research later my dream was finally fulfilled when my Foundation Appaloosa Stallion, Kiss My Finest Heart, stepped off the lorry here in Spain completing a long journey from Texas and from my childhood. He is of course Black and White - so was the TV in those days! Though I learnt long ago that Appaloosas come in many colours and with many coat patterns I stayed true to my dream. As such I also have true Foundation Appaloosa Mares to do my small part in increasing the numbers of this once nearly extinct breed. Don´t be fooled, not every spotty horse is an Appaloosa! You may have seen us on the TV. Being such a rare horse around Spain, Heart has become quite the TV Star, appearing on Canal Sur programs A Caballo, Todo Deporte and Tierra y Mar. Knowing the versatility of this breed Heart is available for limited outside reservations to Arabian, Polo, Sport Horse and of course other Appaloosa Mares. Negative EVA and CEM, Heart also has NO PSSM lines in his genealogy and we are waiting the test results to confirm this. Apart from pasture and in-hand cover we also provide a refrigerated semen service for mainland Europe (for example, to UK within 24 hours). So liaise with your vet as soon as possible and contact us to secure a reservation. You could not wish for a finer, more well mannered stud than Heart. Not only a true gentleman, he passes on the conformation, strength and agility for which his breed is renowned. Tracing back to the Sundance F-500, of which he won FOAL OF THE YEAR 2004, five times to the Ghost Wind Stallion and right back to the Godolphin Arabian, Heart has all one would want to pass on to future generations. For those not in the know, every winning racing yard in England has blood lines that trace back to the Godolphin Barb, as he was also known, born in 1724. Yes, I can actually trace Hearts pedigree back nearly 300 years! This is a top pedigree that includes Chief Chelsea, War Horse and bloodlines from the Sam Fisher herd. On the arabian side Hearts ancestry also includes the CMK mare Bint Bint Nura who won many championships in Crystal Palace, UK and Ferdin, a stallion owned by the Kelloggs family who sired many great get and himself won many prizes in the show ring in Los Angeles. Heart came to me from a small family run ranch in Texas, where quality over quantity is the breeding motto. His sire, Eagles Thunderntoby, is not only stunning but competes at national level in various disciplines. You can learn more about Thunder, a Silver Medallion winner, via his page. Hearts sire Heart is very true to his breed. Read all about the Foundation Appaloosa and discover more about the beguiling character of Heart. The future sire of your spotted baby horse maybe! But not any old spots - a True Foundation Appaloosa. When an Appaloosa enters your life it will steal your heart. This will give you just a small idea why I am so dedicated to this breed. Having waited a long time to make their true acquaintance. Both barefoot and bitless Heart began his Endurance career at age 5. After only three competitions he qualified to national level. At the end of his first year in competition Heart consistently improved his times, his speed through the vet gate and his condition levels. No iron on his feet or in his mouth he is a gentleman, able to behave correctly in any and every circumstance and, healthy and happily doing so. His resting heart rate is just 20 bpm.
