From introductory seminars giving an understandable overview of the enormous benefits of naturally balanced hooves, one-day maintenance courses for horses that have now made the transition to barefoot soundness and their owner wants to maintain a hands-on understanding of their horses hoof, to full courses covering anatomy, hoof mapping and recognising hoof deformities and how to re-balance hooves. This course is for people who want to make the transition themselves from shod to barefoot and quite possibly make a career of this fast growing area of Natural Horse Husbandry.NEWS - Wednesday April 14th ONE DAY NATURAL BALANCE TRIMMING COURSE Covering basic anatomy, the essentials of hoof mapping and trimming a cadaver hoof, the course was enthusiastically attended and enjoyed by all. Designed for owners of barefoot horses to have sufficient knowledge to maintain their own horses hooves once healthy barefoot soundness has been achieved. This course does not qualify anyone to recognise and/or resolve hoof deformities or illnesses. There are no new courses currently confirmed and meanwhile our CLINIC continues to offer in-house transition from shod to barefoot or unbalanced barefoot to healthy barefoot. CLINICAL TRANSITION - is offered for clients who are unable to assist in the rehabilitation of their horse. This service provides all necessary treatments, quality hard feed, quality forage feed (fibre) available around the clock, natural supplements for the promotion of healthy hooves, daily exercise (according to the stages of transition), livery in a rubber matted stall with micro-spray cooling system, automatic water and daily cleaning. 1.400 € monthly TRANSITION ONLY - is offered for owners who assist with the transition exercise requirements of their horse. Included in the price is twice monthly treatments, quality forage feed (fibre) available around the clock, natural supplements for the promotion of healthy hooves, paddock care in a secure paddock with automatic water and weekly cleaning. This option does require a real commitment from the owner to attend to their horse at least 3 times a week. 380 € monthly
