Level 4 - Professional. To attain this certification level you have to complete levels 1, 2 and 3 and the two distance study courses. You then complete 10 case studies over a period of 8 to 12 months, showing the evolution of the hooves with photographic and text support, which is then submitted and evaluated. Ideally you will work alongside a professional in equine podology. At all times you will have our support for referral and to clarify any information.Designed for those that want to make a career in this fast growing area of equine health. Once completed this course provides all the information necessary to safely and correctly assess and resolve hoof problems. It must always be remembered, however, that science is constantly revealing new information and as professional´s in the equestrian world we have an obligation to our equine friends to assure that we keep up-to-date with any new information that can affect the health of our equine community. This course is often organised to coincide with additional one or two day equine massage therapy courses with a qualified therapist from the UK. A very useful complimentary course to barefoot horse husbandry.
